Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club (PLSLC) stands as a proud symbol of community spirit, courage, and coastal heritage. Founded in 1947 by just ten passionate pioneers, the Club has grown into a cornerstone... of surf lifesaving excellence and camaraderie. Perched on the golden sands of Main Beach, North Stradbroke Island, PLSLC holds the unique honour of being Queensland’s only Surf Club to patrol two beaches, a testament to the dedication and strength of its members.

Oasis On Straddie is a beautiful coastal venue in which friends and family can come together to enjoy vibrant Mexican food, delicious wood fired pizzas and carefully curated cocktails along with the ambient... atmosphere of our little slice of paradise - our island Oasis. At Fins N Fries ( locally known as Finnsies ) we’ve been serving up delicious quality fish, chips & burgers to locals & hungry island visitors since 1995.
