All equipment is supplied during our North Stradbroke Island surfing lessons, including safe learn to surf boards and rash/sun vests and wetsuits if needed. Our staff has a wealth of experience in surfing… and some have been surf coaching on the island since 1987. All are accredited level 1 and level 2 coaches with Surfing Australia. We guarantee that you will have a fantastic experience whether it be learning to surf or elite coaching that you are after. So come and have a go, age is no limit (5 to 70 years). The best surfer in the water is the one who is enjoying themselves the most.

North Stradbroke Island Golf Club is located just 10 minutes from Dunwich and offers scenic views of Brown Lake, Brisbane harbour, Moreton Bay and the Glasshouse Mountains. NSI Museum on Minjerribah is a social history museum emphasising contemporary collecting. The museum’s objective and rationale is to represent the 65,000 years or so of Aboriginal history, the British… invasion and colonisation and a complex shared history of less than 200 years. Our Walking Together program is an active process to properly engage with, document and display the shared journey of living together on Minjerribah and that the museum is on unceded Quandamooka Lands. The essence is that our social history is Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal; sometime in conflict; sometime in cooperation. Wed – Sun open 10:00am – 2:00pm Mon – Tue – closed

The iconic Gorge Walk is a must-do experience on Redlands Coast. This 1.2 kilometre self-guided walk follows the rocky headlands of Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) and is one… of south-east Queensland’s most spectacular coastal walks. Enjoy expansive headland views overlooking the Pacific Ocean on one side and coastal bushland and unique Australian wildlife, including kangaroos and wallabies, to the other. While taking in the incomparable view, keep your eyes peeled for majestic marine life, including sea turtles, giant manta rays and dolphins riding the waves below. Between June and November each year, the Gorge Walk offers ideal vantage lookout points for land-based whale watching, where thousands of humpback whales can be spotted travelling the seas during their migration. This coastline is often referred to as the humpback highway. The Gorge Walk is a truly magical experience to put at the top of your Minjerribah itinerary!

Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club (PLSLC) stands as a proud symbol of community spirit, courage, and coastal heritage. Founded in 1947 by just ten passionate pioneers, the Club has grown into a cornerstone… of surf lifesaving excellence and camaraderie. Perched on the golden sands of Main Beach, North Stradbroke Island, PLSLC holds the unique honour of being Queensland’s only Surf Club to patrol two beaches, a testament to the dedication and strength of its members.

Her design studio is on North Stradbroke Island, a sand Island off the coast of Brisbane and our collections are inspired by life beside the Coral Sea.
